Meet our wonderful staff!
At Geneva Children's Center, we are proud of our staff, all of whom are uniquely qualified educationally, come to us with years of experience and are mature Christians. Perhaps most importantly, they see teaching young children as not just a job, but as a calling. We are blessed to have each an every one of them as part of the GCC family.
With the recent retirement of our GCC Director, Sherry Hoselton, we are pleased to announce that preschool teacher, Mrs. Amy Lussier, has been promoted to fill the Director position. Mrs. Amy has been with the Geneva Children's Center since we opened our doors in 2013 and is one of the key reasons our school has grown and thrived. She received her AA degree with an Early Childhood Certificate from Saddleback College. We thank her for her continued dedication as she steps into this new role.
Kathryn Inouye earned her BA degree in Child Development and Family Studies from Calif. State University, Long Beach and has her Child Development Site Supervisor Permit. Her husband of 25 years is a Lieutenant in the Orange County Sheriff’s Dept. and the city chief for Laguna Woods. They have two children, a dog named Maddie, and a bunny named Bolt. “I love teaching toddlers at Geneva and working in a Faith-based program" says Mrs. I, "GCC's staff truly cares about children and families.”
Veronica McCallum, also known as Mrs. Roni, earned her teaching certificate at Saddleback College and CSU Fullerton. She has been with Geneva Children’s Center as a floating teacher since Spring of 2018, and has been working with children for over a decade. Mrs. Roni lives in Irvine with her husband, Brendan. She loves cooking, baking, and playing video games.
"I have loved my time here at Geneva and getting to know the kids!" she says.Macy Cofield, "Miss Macy", earned her childhood studies units at Allan Hancock college and has been working with children for eight years. Prior to joining the GCC staff, she worked at the Laguna Presbyterian Preschool. When not working, Miss Macy loves hanging out with friends and family at the mall or at the beach. "I have loved my time here at Geneva and getting to know the kids!" she says.
Nada Hilal Saad is passionate about working with young learners as evidenced by her18 years of teaching experience! Mrs. Nada received her bachelor's degree in Communication Arts with a from The Lebanese American University of Beirut and earner her Early Childhood units from Irvine Valley College. "I enjoy helping each child progress in all areas of their development – academic, social, language and motor," she says, "and I look forward to having a positive impact on GCC students and joining this amazing and supportive team."
Ms. Martha serves GCC in the afternoons as an Extended Day Teacher and helps out with breaks and office assistance. She attended Long Beach City College and UCLA. She earned her AA degree in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Martha taught infants and preschool children for over 10 years and held a Director position for several years. “I really love to work with children and watch them develop and grow.”
For the last 28 years Mrs. Clements has worked at a local preschool where she continues to assist in the classrooms in the morning before coming to GCC. We are thrilled that she then comes over the share her afternoons with us! She has two children, six grandchildren and is an avid baseball fan always cheering on the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
